To,
Mr. K.R. Viswanathan Pillai,Kerala.

I was extremely happy to read about life in Malaysia durinr the World War II post period. My father and mother worked in Malaysia.
My father(Mr. K. C. Cheriyan)worked as Supervisor/Rubber Estates in Merotai, Tawau(1945-1968), Sadakan(1980/1981) and my mother(Mrs. Mariamma Cheriyan) was a school Teacher/Principal. They are both no more. But I found your memories very informative and glad to know its recorded down in the the Internet for our reading. I feel very grateful and thankful that you were able to provide an insight into the life at that time in Malaysia. Please feel free to reply.
Thankyou,
Mariam Eapen(Sindhu)Toronto,
